Bosco's Mercantile is looking for a passionate and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our dynamic team. As our Store Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing every aspect of the store’s success, including driving sales, developing client relationships, managing the team, and running daily operations.

You’ll work closely with the owner to create a collaborative partnership that fuels the growth of the business. Visual merchandising plays a vital role in our success, and you'll partner with the owner to design exciting displays, deepen product knowledge, set goals, and actively engage in all areas of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, tracking stock, conducting counts, and handling online orders.

  • Achieve store sales goals daily, monthly, and yearly across all product categories.

  • Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on our brands and helping them find the right products.

  • Grow and nurture the customer base, building long-term relationships in a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Maintain strong product knowledge: brands, sizing, fits, fabrics, and trends.

  • Analyze sales performance and trends to identify opportunities for growth and solutions to improve business.

  • Develop strategies to drive sales, generate new business, and expand the customer base.

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth execution.

  • Manage a team of associates, including supervising, training, and development.

  • Assist with creating new sales and recruitment strategies.

  • Oversee POS functions, store organization, stock maintenance, and inventory receiving.

  • Implement and manage visual merchandising.

  • Ensure a professional, healthy, and productive work environment.

  • Regularly clean the store, including dusting, mopping, and general upkeep.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on events, social media, e-commerce, and sales promotions.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store and storefront.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 4 years of retail management experience required.

  • Knowledge of bedding, home goods, or textiles is a plus.

  • Previous experience in luxury fashion or designer retail is required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining customer-focused and goal-oriented.

  • Self-motivated and proactive.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with both clients and the store team.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, basic retail math, and Square POS system.

JOB TYPE: Full Time

PAY: $25-35.00 per hour

EXPECTED HOURS: 35-40 hours per week. Weekends are a MUST

SHIFT: 6-8 hours

WEEKLY RANGE: Thursday - Monday
